Teddy & The Bassman - Episode 24

December 29th, 2016

Happy Holidays! 2016 has been tough, but here at Steampunk Towers, Christmas came with a very happy surprise – our daughter Catherine arrived all the way from England! And as if one amazing guest wasn’t enough, The God of Pod Evan Harris also stops by with his special brand of holiday cheer (apologies that his mic was a little hot, so a bit of distortion, but he’s awesome just the same!)

Catherine takes us on a comparison tour of the US vs the UK, and we argue some of the finer points of sports, tea and profanity. Christmas makes up most of our discussion, including our favourite gifts, all those times Catherine was fooled by Father Christmas, and what needs to go into this Christmas version of the Steampunk Cellar. And what the heck is a Singing Henny??
All this, along with the usual mélange of Christmassy vintage commercials, silly jingle (bells) and cool carols.
